Poland in Europe
Situated in the centre of Europe, Poland has borders with seven countries and has a Baltic Sea coast. There is Russia in the north, Germany to the west, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south, Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania in the east (see map below).
As can be seen in the map at the top right of the screen, Poland is actually closer to the UK than Spain! Even the far side is not as far as the Costa Del Sol in southern Spain. Take note also that the northernmost part of Poland is roughly on a level with East Anglia in the UK.
